The InCELL Hunter eXpress HCK Kinase Binding Assay provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study small molecule drug candidates that engage with kinases. This kit assesses compound-engagement-based stabilization of HCK via detection of HCK levels. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses HCK target protein fused to ProLabel. In the absence of compound that binds and stabilizes the target, this protein is degraded and no EFC signal is produced. When compound engages and stabilizes the target, EA contained in the detection reagent produces EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Cayman’s Phagocytosis Assay Kit (IgG-DyLight™ 405) employs latex beads coated with fluorescently-labeled rabbit IgG as a probe for the measurement of the phagocytic process in vitro. The engulfed fluorescent beads can be detected using a fluorescence microscope, allowing kinetic studies of phagocytosis at the single-cell level. In addition, the flow cytometric readout provides the advantage of visualizing perturbations in phagocytosis on the population level and, when combined with antibody staining, of specific cell types within complex populations.
